The Cropper's Corner recently received the following message:

Congratulations, your store has been chosen to participate in Epson's Scrapbook Central Market Test!

You were one of over 200 retailers that signed up for the chance to participate. We were only able to include a small number of the top candidates from around the country for this exciting test. As a participant in the program, you will be one of the first scrapbook retailers in the nation to receive Epson's innovative new Scrapbook Central for your store.

We are thrilled that beginning August 13th we will be able to offer you photo and scrapbook services that simply have not been available until now.

A photo kiosk has been been a part of our plans since we first opened our doors for business. We have evaluated several systems. However, until now, all of the systems we found had a serious limitation... they could only scan and print up to 8.5" x 11". So, we were going to build our own system with a large-format scanner that would scan 12" x 12". The next problem was that there were no photo-quality printers that would print a true edge-to-edge 12" x 12". Well, Epson has been listening to photographers and scrapbookers and this summer they responded with the first large format inkjet printer that will produce archive quality prints ... even a true edge-to-edge 12" x 12".

What does this mean for you? Well, now you will be able to do the following:

Scan and reprint 12" x 12" scrapbook pages that truly look as good as the original.

Make archival quality copies of photos and scrapbook pages that are waterproof and fade-resistant up to 100-200 years.

Make 8" x 8" or 6" x 6" copies of your full-size scrapbooks to give as gifts.

Save digital copies of your scrapbook masterpieces in case a disaster takes your original.

Turn your scrapbook pages into a digital slideshow for dvd video or even put it on a website.
